Data we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our quote request form: company name, country of incorporation, estimated turnover, nature of Swiss activities, your full name, email address, VAT registration status, and any optional notes.

We do not collect any data passively beyond what third-party services below may process (see "Third-party services").

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is used solely to prepare a personalised quote and, if you become a client, to manage your Swiss VAT fiscal representation. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.

We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Google Fonts — Fonts are loaded from Google’s CDN. Google may record your IP address when the fonts are fetched. See Google’s privacy policy.

Google Ads — We use Google Ads to measure how our advertising performs. Advertising cookies are set by Google, only after you accept. See Google’s privacy policy.

Resend — Emails sent from this site (your quote estimate, our internal notifications) are delivered by Resend, Inc. Your email address and the content of the message pass through Resend’s servers. See Resend’s privacy policy.

Cloudflare — The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection metadata (IP addresses, request logs) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Railway — Our back-office application, which receives quote requests, is hosted by Railway Corp. See Railway’s privacy policy.

Supabase — The data from your request is stored in a database operated by Supabase, Inc. See Supabase’s privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

vatflow uses Google Ads to measure how its advertising performs. This measurement relies on advertising cookies set by Google.

These cookies are set only after you accept. The legal basis for this processing is your consent. Until you answer, and if you decline, no Google script is loaded and no advertising cookie is set.

Your choice is kept for six months in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, and this information is never transmitted. After six months, you are asked again.

You can change your choice at any time through the Cookies link in the footer. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.

Retention

Quote request data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by Swiss law (generally 10 years for accounting records). If no engagement follows your request, data is deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

Under GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, write to hello@vatflow.ch.
